Devoted to Lord Vishnu, Chennakesava temple is situated in Belur. Famous for its architecture and exquisitely carved stone figures, the temple has 42 bracketed figurines called Madanikas and typically star shaped ground plan. The lowest carved bands have 650 elephants in different moods.

Gol Gumbaz
Also known as ‘Whispering dome’ Gol Gumbaz is a fine piece of Islamic architectural style. The heritage has a height of 51 m and 3 m thick walls. Mysore Palace

Banneghatta National Park
